When soulful singer/songwriter Danny Brooks
entered hospital
in July to undergo heart bypass surgery the music communities
rallied in support with a series of fund raisers. The 2nd will take
place at The Silver Dollar Room on Tuesday, Aug.24.
The lineup includes The Jack de Keyzer Band,
The Steve Strongman Band, Ken Whiteley, Danny Marks
(w/ Leon Stevenson & Rodney St.Amand) and Danny`s band,
The Rockin` Revelators featuring Amoy Levy & John Mays.
All proceeds
will go to assist and support Danny Brooks and enable him to take
the necessary time away from performing
to make a full recovery.
